Luggage-cart chair offers you a seat when tired
Remember the travel stroller from a few weeks ago? This product is very similar, but instead of targeting traveling toddlers, this one is a solution for adults. The original idea is apparently to use it for picnics, but I can imagine that it’s also very useful for elderly people shopping for their groceries.
Why It’s Clever
I said that it seems to be designed for picnics – that’s because the compartment includes a pair of wine-bottle holders and a removable cutlery pouch. Since it sits only one person, while it stores two bottles of wine and offers 20" x 15" space to store food, I guess it makes sense that the chair holds up to 300 lbs.
Seriously, though, it may be a very good solution for a picnic. But I think that it’s even more useful for people attending long events or working outside all day, although I don’t see the average construction worker sitting on this within sight of his co-workers. It might also be quite useful for elderly or disabled people who make use of standard luggage carts to shop for their groceries. Now, when the route to the grocery shop gets too strenuous, they can unfold the chair and take a rest before setting off again.
