Karcher DDC50 – Drill Dust Collector

Tired of cleaning up the mess after drilling a wall? Karcher might have the solution for you in the shape of the DDC50 Drill Dust Collector. Just stick it to the wall where you want to drill a hole, and it will suck up the dust before it hits the floor.

Why it's Clever and Easy What's This?

When I saw the DDC50 the first time, I wondered how it could be fixed to the wall before drilling – it looked as if it was supported by the drill bit. But the documentation says that it uses suction to stick to the wall. What an original solution: A micro vacuum cleaner that uses the vacuum to suck up the dust and to attach itself to the wall at the same time. I wonder if it works on the ceiling as well – if you've tried it, let us know.

Summary

  • Micro vacuum cleaner
  • Sucks up drill dust before it hits the floor
  • Auto-attaches to the wall
  • Battery operated.
